Meet the gorgeous Lilah!
Lilah is very intelligent and learns quickly; she loves an adventure and after living an isolating life is ready to experience the love and comfort of an interesting and nurturing home.
Lilah is a smart, cheeky sweet soul with a lot of love to give. She is very cute, quite playful, picks up on tricks and cues easily, and is quite obedient. She likes to cuddle but is quite independent and will happily have some alone time. When left alone for long periods, she may bark out of boredom, but she’s easily entertained with enrichment toys and stuffed animals.
She can be standoffish or sometimes fearful of strangers and may bark if she feels uncomfortable. However, she will quickly warm up once her human lets her know she’s safe; she may never be the dog strangers can pat though. Lilah gets frightened by loud noises and will look to her human for reassurance.
Someone who can help build her confidence will be the perfect match because despite being a bit nervous, she loves walks and adventures. She is untested with cats, so she would be more suited to a single-animal home or one with an older male dog. She loves other dogs. A home with border collie experience would be ideal.
Oh, she also does this very cute nuzzle thing where she nuzzles into your chest or body. Her big brown, expressive eyes convey so much emotion and you can see just how intelligent and loving she is.

Lilah is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
She is in perfect health.
