Jimmy is a a lazy goofy boy. He loves affection and will seek it out from everyone. 

On his walks Jimmy is brilliant at reading people and will be calm and respectful with children, older people and loves to lean against a mobility aid to get those good scratches too. If someone is more playful with him he will respond to that too so he is a great conversation starter. 

Jimmy will make dog friends on his walks and usually a sniff or two and he is on his way. At the dog park Jimmy will run with the big dogs a few laps and he is ready for a nap. Jimmy likes every dog, but like most greyhounds. Smaller dogs can be confusing for him. The same applies for cats he meets on his walks although a firm “leave it” and he will quickly carry on. Jimmy only needs a 30 minute walk, enough to do his business and he is set for a day of napping. 

Jimmy is house trained and prefers a designated area, if he does have to go out before bed, we use a doggy loo and he loves it. He is a tidy boy!

Jimmy is eager to please, he will go to bed, leave it, give the paw and come inside on the first command mostly. He loves his toys and has 3 special squeaky pals that he takes good care of, he is a sentimental boy too. He does love picking apart a rope toy or a cardboard toilet paper tube. 

Jimmy loves people more than anything, cuddles are his favourite thing. 

As a former racer, being caged and kept alone most of his life, Jimmy still needs his personal space as much as he insists on being on the human furniture. A safe secure corner of his own where he can stretch out and sleep uninterrupted is ideal for him.

Any one who meets Jimmy loves him and anyone who has witnessed his back yard zoomies find it hilarious, he has learned a lot over the passed few months, most importantly that water zoomies are epic and lake water is way tastier than the water at the beach. He is a good boy, with a gentle energy and he deserves the best. 

Jimmy is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.

He is in perfect health.
