Are you looking for a tall, long boy who wants to be loved and cherished as part of the family?

Dexter loves people. He wants to be with his people when they are home – but give him a comfy bed and he’ll be fine on his own while you are at work.

He loves pats, cuddles and playing tug-o-war with his humans. He is so gentle with kids, happily letting them ‘pat’ him, snuggle into him and will follow them around from room to room.

Dexter is a good eater; knows to sit, high-5 and be given his command ‘good boy, eat’ before eating his dinner. He has no allergies and will happily clean up the floor after the kids.

Dexter does like to run and will often chase birdies at the park – and he’s fast but hasn’t been fast enough to catch them yet. He will chase a ball or sticks until the cows come home.

Dexter is good with recall (most of the time) and is great with other dogs. He will approach at the park and instantly make new friends. He is great on and off lead and will also happily run beside a bicycle or walk beside a pram. He is an energetic dog who needs daily walks.

Dexter has been camping numerous times and is used to being around open firepits, wildlife, rivers, and lakes. He is happy being allowed to roam around and always makes sure he is near his humans.

Dexter is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.

He is in perfect health.
